Room 222 | Sunday Afternoon
Aug. 26th, 2012 02:27 pmLike most things in his life, Jim was taking everything about this new place in stride. He was in the past (somehow), he was in a place where people could read minds (not his favorite thing), and he was rooming with a gigantic wuss (that was kind of fun).
All in all, things could be worse. A whole lot worse. And even if they had been worse, he wouldn't let anyone see how that was affecting him. Not a chance.
He hadn't packed much which meant unpacking had been quick yesterday. He'd just been sad he hadn't had enough stuff to really encroach on Jackson's side of the room. But, he'd give that a go in due time.
Juliet's welcome basket was on his desk along with a few book from home. He was pretty sure he had a picture of his mom stuck in one of those books but he wasn't gonna go digging for it.
Nope. Instead, he was gonna open the window as wide as he could, find some good rock music on the ancient radio he'd picked up at the airport and flop down on the bed to mess around with the phone Juliet had gotten him.
Without reading the instruction manual, of course.
