Room 222 | Monday Evening
Jul. 1st, 2013 06:04 pmThe rain was keeping Jim in the dorms tonight. He didn't have big plans anyway but he'd thought about going to the mainland, maybe finding a bar or two but walking all that way in a steady rain was just not his idea of fun. He looked good wet but it wasn't always fun to walk around feeling soaked to the skin.
So, he was staying in tonight. He had some dinner delivered and was currently checking through some random text messages from various people he'd met since he'd been here. Random girls asking him to come over, random guys asking him to come have a drink and so on. He replied to a few but left most unanswered.
Once his phone started to bore him, he reached over to his nightstand and picked up the book he kept there just in case he got bored and wanted to read. He was halfway through this one now and maybe it was cliche to read on a rainy night but he didn't care.
He'd be a cliche then. Just this once.
