To Boldy Info Post Where No Info Post Has Gone Before!
So, this guy's not from Teen Wolf. I kinda feel like I'm pooping on the party now. Oh well, I'll get over it and give you some info on this guy anyway. For those that may not now, this is James T. Kirk, who is not yet a captain, not yet in command of the Enterprise and not yet bedding all sorts of girls, alien and otherwise, all around the galaxy.

James T. Kirk is, of course, from Star Trek and this version of Jim is coming before the events of the rebooted movie that was super duper successful a few years ago which landed it a sequel which is currently in the works.
Hurrah! So, here's some basic background on the canon. When the movie opens, we're aboard the Federation starship USS Kelvin investigating a lightning storm in space. This is just the beginning of JJ Abrams' love affair with lens flares. He loves that effect, man! Of course, the lightning storm isn't just a storm because a Romulan ship emerges from the storm and attacks the Kelvin. Outgunned and losing manpower, the captain of the Kelvin, Robau, goes aboard the Romulan ship to negotiate a cease fire. The cease fire fails when Nero, the leader of the Romulan ship, shoots and kills Robau and resumes the assault on the Kelvin. With Robau's death, George Kirk (a very pre-Thor Chris Hemsworth) is left in charge and starts evacuating the crippled ship. George Kirk, however, stays true to being a captain and decides to go down with his ship (if you start singing Dido, I apologize). Before he dies, George does get to witness the birth of his son, one James Kirk, and gets to talk to his wife one last time before he dies.
And thus, the legend begins. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. First, Kirk has to be a little badass during his childhood, stealing cars and just generally being a little jerk. That attitude continues through his teenage years where stealing cars turns into bar fights and blood loss. It's just another day in Kirk's life. But, after one particularly brutal beating, Christopher Pike, a captain in Starfleet finds Kirk in that bar and makes him an offer. He wants Kirk to join Starfleet Academy Jim was the perfect candidate, clever and fearless; he just needed the push to follow in his dad's footsteps, to live up to the legend. Pike dared him and Jim couldn't resist. Not in a million years.

When Jim comes to Fandom, he's still not gonna be at legend levels just yet. Well, he'll think he's a legend but he's not. Instead of growing up a military brat, surrounded by purpose and excitement and adventure, Jim grew up in a dusty stretch of Iowan cornfields. The childhood he was supposed to spend growing under his father’s watchful eye and his mother’s indulgent smile became something much harder. His mother spent more time offworld than on it, frequently leaving Jim under the care of his stepfather Frank, who both hated the boy’s lip and resented his budding genius. With few positive influences, Jim came not to admire his father, but to resent the legacy he left behind, forcing Jim into the shadow of a man so great that Jim could never possibly measure up.
And that's exactly why he'll be coming to Fandom. To bust out of his father's shadow and to be his own man. He thinks that no one's gonna know the great George Kirk here and won't care and he can build his own legacy.
So, here's just some basics on Jim's personality, pour vous.

Kirk's a lot smarter than he lets on, willing to do what it takes to prove he's right and someone else is wrong, very attractive (mmm, Chris Pine), strong and reckless but he's a normal human being with no supernatural powers to his name. He can fight, can take a lot of punishment, doesn't mind bleeding and can handle most guns though!
He's a friendly guy, totally outgoing and outspoken and a huge, huge, huge flirt. He likes girls a lot and thinks girls will like him. So, if you're a girl, he'll be flashing you his smile just as soon as he can.
I know there was a Jim here before in the guise of a teacher so if anyone remembers him and wants to recognize Jim, go for it, I don't mind at all!
PS: His dad is Thor.

PPS: SHUT UP ABOUT HIS MIDDLE NAME.
