I didn't do one of these last time for ANYONE so I've overloaded on GIFs because I like GIFs. And since I have to linkgrab, I'm just giving myself more work which is fine with me. I've consulted with myself and all.

The Necromancer: Sam LaCroix

He's a necromancer! He can raise the dead, control the dead, feels pain when people die, see the dead, read emotions, read the souls of the living and dead, and can push humans mentally
He didn't know about any of this for most of his life. He was bound (or cut off from his powers) until they were released after a fellow necromancer discovered the depth of his power
That basically means he's a REALLY powerful necromancer. His power's described as like a raging river or something. It doesn't trickle, it rushes.
He was tortured by a guy named Douglas Montgomery who was also a necromancer so Sam thinks he's gonna go evil one day. Sigh. I've been playing with that thought recently so Sam'll be a little more off than normal.
His back is COMPLETELY scarred. He was attacked by a werewolf. Ow.
Regularly sees and talks to two ghosts who are his liasions to the dead. If he's talking to them and your character is around Sam, they'll be able to see them as well
Got dumped around Christmas by Natalie V. Adams. And now they are merely making a lot of bad mistakes and just sleeping with each other because they're messed up.
Is an easygoing, sarcastic slacker. He was being a smartass to Douglas Montgomery while the guy was torturing him. He doesn't have a death wish, it's just how he is.

The Future Captain of the Enterprise

First, I think this is the first time I've publicly said I'm playing this dude. I stealthed (as best as I could) with him for a long, long time.
Jim's from the Star Trek reboot universe, of course. It's a world filled with pretty people, battles, and LENS FLARES
Jim's totally pre-canon right now. He might be on Pike's radar but he's a few years off from heading to Starfleet Academy
So, basically, Jim's the most lovable jerkface you can imagine. He optimistic, opportunistic and cocky. He thinks he can do anything and that he's made of teflon.
He can back up a lot of his swagger, though. He's smarter than anyone gives him credit for, thinks fast, and very, very clever and cunning. He'll do what it takes to get shit done, man.
He lives in the shadow of his father, the great George Kirk, who made the ultimate sacrifice
Needless to say, that's given him some daddy issues. Of course.
His mother's not around. She's not a bad mother, she's just not there.
That left him getting cared for by his stepfather, Frank, who didn't really care for Jim. The feeling was mutual.
Jim's friendly, flirtatious and fun loving.
But he's reckless too and he'll take a punch or fifty if he has to
He lives with Jackson, who he perpetually annoys.
He will not tell you his middle name.

The Graveyard Boy

From Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book wherein he is, of course, the main protagonist.
Grew up in a graveyard being cared for by ghosts, a vampire and a werewolf after his parents were murdered by a secret order that thought Bod would bring their society down.
British as evidenced by his pale skin and unmissable accent.
Knows a lot of Latin.
Has the Latin words SEMPER AD MELIOR tattooed on the side of his torso. It means Always Towards Better Things.
Enjoys hanging out in the graveyard just for fun. It calms him down and makes home feel a little closer than it really is.
Generally quiet and very observant
Is the owner of two fish, inherited from Didi when her time on the mortal plane ended. THEY WILL NEVER DIE OKAY.
Also has a corgi puppy by the name of Seamus
Pretty much married to Kate Gregson. They're married without actually being married.
Tends to see vampires very differently than most people. They don't scare him and he usually thinks positively of them until he knows otherwise. That's sometimes...a topic of contention.
Works in a graveyard while living in Kansas City. He's not a grave digger or anything. Just general upkeep and stuff. It's good money and he's good at it!
Almost always friendly and very, very curious.

The Demigod

From Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series.
Son of Poseidon which means a lot his powers revolve around water (powers list here). If he's around water and you challenge him, you'll go down.
He's short tempered, snappish and standoffish but he can also be friendly and fun. It's just a matter of the mood he's in and the day you catch him on.
He's been expelled from every school he's been in but this one. For him, that's an accomplishment.
Is the owner of a GIANT hellhound named Mrs. O'Leary. She lives in the stables because she's legit the size of a tank. If you're a regular normal human, you're just gonna see a poodle because of something called the Mist that obscures demigod things from human eyes.
He's dating Luke Castellan but he's not really good with emotions so he might not admit that even if it's totally, totally true
He's about to graduate and then he's dragging Luke off to New York with him to MEET THE MOTHER FINALLY. And yet, we still haven't taken as long as HIMYM to introduce the mother.
Has a tattoo on his forearm that looks like this.
Very skilled swordsman (not as skilled as Luke) but sucks at archery.
Has a sword called Riptide that he always carries around in the form of a ballpoint pen. Greek weapons are cool.
Don't ever let him name anything of yours because, if his AU kids are any indication, HE SUCKS AT IT HOLY COW.
