Room 222 | Wednesday Afternoon

Jim still hadn't seen any sign of Jackson. He spared a few thoughts to hoping the guy wasn't dead in a ditch somewhere but he otherwise didn't care. It still meant he had the room to himself which was always fun. He didn't have any classes today so he'd gone out for a long run. The weather had been perfect for it, not too hot and not too cold.

He'd gotten back a few minutes ago and had gone about getting a shower and getting some pants on. His hair was still wet and his shirt was still on his bed because he hadn't put it on yet. Jim sat down on the edge of his bed and stretched his legs out.

He'd get to the shirt in a minute. Jim was just going to enjoy sitting down and resting for right now.

"Yes."

Because whatever Peter said, she wanted her pretty distractions. An attitude adjustment wasn't going to happen that fast.

"And what do you wanna do about it?" Jim asked, prompting her for elaboration.

[And I will be leaving inna bit to go see my dad!]

Natalie was really good at finding a way to elaborate quite a bit with the smallest number of words possible, though.

"You?"

It was almost impressive.

[Noted! HAVE A GOOD TIME!]

One corner of Jim's mouth turned up and he half smiled at her. "That sounded like you were unsure. I thought you'd be more decisive."

"Not unsure," Natalie corrected, and shook her head. "Offering."

"Oh Natalie, you know you can always do me," Jim quipped, snickering. "So, your offer is accepted."

Natalie rolled her eyes, but reached out to put her hands on his hips all the same. Pulling him closer.

"Charming."

"Did you come here to get charmed?" Jim didn't think so, not with how she was already tugging him closer. "Or did you come here for distraction?"

"I can't get both?" she retorted, tilting her head at him, now that she was closer. "Can't distract me charmingly? Where are your multitasking skills?"

"Why would I need to distract you charmingly?" Jim asked, raising an eyebrow. "You seem like a simple girl."

"... That has to be the first time anyone's ever called me that."

She was used to 'frustratingly complex' and just plain old 'difficult'.

"As you're so fond of telling me, I don't know you," he reminded her. "So what I know of you? Simple."

"I can still be surprised." Even almost pleased. She didn't want to be simple, not really, but it was nice to know she could come off that way anyway.

That could be handy at some point. "But maybe I won't require charm, then."

"You gonna require other things?" he asked because it seemed like that question was right there for the taking.

"Same things I always require." Whatever those were. She leaned in and kissed his cheek, even if that was really a detour to talking quietly by his ear. "Nothing you can't provide."

"And I'm always willing to provide," he murmured, staying still for the moment. "But, maybe you should tell me what you require today. You're the one with the rules. Wouldn't wanna break any of them."

Natalie stayed quiet for a moment, but she also stayed where she was. Deciding what to say was like choosing what role she wanted to play right now. What facet of herself to bring up and use to force the other parts down for a moment of distraction.

"I require your tongue." Her voice was a purr in his ear. "Specifically, between my legs. Something tells me you'd be good at that and I want to test that hypothesis. For starters, anyway. I'll tell you when to stop."

Apparently the wheel of facets stopped on authoritative.

"So, you want me to go down on you," Jim surmised with a smirky sort of smile. "I think I can do that. Oh wait, no, I know I can do that. You've felt my tongue in other places so you know I know what I'm doing."

"It's kind of what I'm counting on," Natalie admitted, using the hands on his hips to tug him even closer to her. Hips to hips. "Your smugness hasn't turned out unfounded yet. So yes. I want you to go down on me."

Jim nudged his hips against hers, using the closeness to his advantage and hers. He was still smirking down at her.

"You want that happening right here?" Jim murmured since she had pulled him closer and all. He just thought he'd ask.

"No." She'd pulled him closer because he was there to be pulled. But she bit on her lip and tilted her head to the side. "Well. Not unless you're planning to be so bland that my legs won't buckle from underneath me."

[pursuedthestars]

"I know what you're doing," Jim told her, shaking his head. "Because I do the exact same thing. Trying to push me into showing you that I'm not bland at all when you know I'm not bland."

He shook his head again. "Not gonna work."

Natalie made a quiet, amused little noise. "I've done that before, but right now I was only implying I don't want to end up on the floor."

At least she was acknowledging she'd done it before.

"You'll prove you're not bland by virtue of not being bland. I don't need to push you into it. You'd probably have a harder time trying to be bland."

"Thank you."

See, he'd accept that compliment without further ego boosting on his own. It was nice to hear, if he had to admit it.

"So, you wanna lay on my bed?" he asked, dipping his head down to brush his lips just barely against hers. "Or maybe hop up on my desk? Or something else?"

Natalie didn't reply. Well, not in words, anyway. Not when using her body to nudge him into moving towards his desk was so much more fun.

As was trying to get him to kiss her properly, too.
