Jim hadn't wasted any time in getting back to his room. Hey, he would almost welcome Jackson's presence after all that time without privacy. He didn't mind the bouncy castles but man, the novelty wore off quick and he didn't like rolling over in the middle of the night and ending up splayed against the side of a castle with plastic up his nose.

He'd brought Natalie the snake back first, setting her up on his bed so she could slither around and do her snake thing before going back and getting the rest of his stuff. He'd dropped all that on the floor beside his bed and stretched before flopping down beside Natalie.

Who was still a snake.

"You ever gonna change back?" he asked idly, not expecting a response. He got none. Jim sighed and tucked an arm under his head. Snakes were not great conversation partners.

They'd stumbled over words earlier, it was understandable they were doing without now. Natalie didn't currently have anything to say, either.

She even bit on her lip as she glanced down at her fingers moving down his throat, all the way down to the little hollow at the base of it.

Jim shifted a bit and even laughed silently. He was a little ticklish there.

Just a little. Tiny bit.

Natalie raised her eyebrows a bit at that.

And naturally then she had to give that spot a few light extra touches with her fingertips.

"Quit it," Jim said, laughing a little louder now. "Stop that."

[whenshewasnice]

"Why?"

She didn't stop. Of course not. They'd just been uncomfortable and now he was laughing and when she was making that happen, she wouldn't just stop like that.

"Because I'm ticklish there and I don't want to laugh," he said, trying to push her hand away. "Stop it, you jerk."

He was still laughing.

Natalie swatted his hand away. Come on, she'd stop when she felt like it.

"No, it's good to laugh."

Which was funny, coming from her and her relatively rare laughter.

"Quit it," he said, squirming around and shaking his head. "I'll scream."

How mature.

Natalie was trying to use her leg to keep him relatively still. And also her free hand, grabbing a hold of his shirt. "And?"

What exactly was screaming supposed to accomplish?

"Someone would get concerned and come in here and stop you from doing this," he said, trying to push her hand away. "And that would be help me out!"

"Oh they've heard plenty of screaming coming from here," Natalie pointed out. She pulled her hand away but only because she was trying to roll him onto his back – and her along with him. "They haven't reacted before."

[pursuedthestars]

"Well, I would make them react," he said, ending up on his back after she'd rolled them. "I can make my scream sound urgent and like someone absolutely needs to come and find me and help me."

[whenshewasnice]

"That's boring and desperate," she decided, returning her hand where it had been. Couldn't resist a few more light touches. "Sad."

"Oh my god, you jerk," he said, trying to push her hand away and laughing again. "Stoooop."

"Noooo."

This was what you got when a weakness was revealed, Jim. Natalie mercilessly taking advantage of it.

"Please stop," he said, trying to wrestle her hands away from his throat. "I'm asking you nicely and everything!"

Natalie was using her newly returned limbs to the best of her ability, along with some of her unfair strength to keep him restrained. She wasn't really letting him keep her hands away from his throat for long, even if she had to get physical about it.

At this point the blanket was somewhere around her hips.

"Don't you like laughing?"

"Yes, but usually not because I'm being tickled, you jerk," he said, trying to squirm around and buck her off or something. She was a lot stronger than most girls that ended up on top of him.

That was what he got for spending time with someone who had cartoon strength. Of course he was also squirming against him in his efforts to break free, so it wasn't all that bad.

"Stop calling me a jerk, jerk."

"Stop tickling me, you ass," Jim said, trying to push her hands away from him and move around all at once.

[whenshewasnice]

Natalie pulled her hand away. To duck down and lick the hollow at his throat with the tip of her tongue instead.

She didn't even care if that didn't tickle. She wanted to do it.

It didn't tickle but she'd been tickling him so much that licking him sent a shiver down his spine and made him squirm again.

"I hate you," he breathed.

[whenshewasnice]

Natalie exhaled a quiet laugh.

"Your hate sounds an awful lot like its opposite..."

She repeated her lick.

"It's not."

It was.

"I hate you a lot, you jerk."

[whenshewasnice]

"You don't hate me." This time, she lengthened her lick way up his throat. "You don't hate me at all."
