Mainland Restaurant | Saturday Afternoon
Jan. 11th, 2014 11:45 amJim had an unhappy cat in a carrier at his feet. The server at the restaurant he'd chosen to meet Natalie had been hesitant to let him in at first but he'd charmed her and said he'd pay extra. She'd agreed but he'd had to sit outside which was fine with him. It was drizzly but it was warm and the umbrella overheard provided enough shelter from the rain for both Jim and Moxy.
Jim had ordered something drink and a small appetizer to keep himself satisfied while he waited for Natalie to eventually show up. He didn't exactly know how this whole thing was going to go after his behavior last time they'd talked but he was in a better mood, at least.
Maybe she'd forget he'd been a jerk. He could hope.
